TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. THE AGREEMENT
By placing an order with Build Your Blinds, you confirm that you have verified all measurements and product selections—including fabric color, mount type, and control sides—are correct. As a custom-made-to-order service, production begins immediately to meet our 5-day (Blinds) and 7-day (Curtains) targets.
2. COLOUR ACCURACY & SAMPLES
While we strive for digital accuracy, screen settings vary significantly between devices. We strongly recommend ordering our free express samples before purchasing. Build Your Blinds cannot accept returns or provide refunds based on colour or texture discrepancies if a physical sample was not ordered prior to the final purchase.
3. MEASUREMENTS & DEDUCTIONS

Recess Fit: We will apply standard industry deductions (approx. 3-5mm per side) to ensure your blinds operate freely within the window frame.

Face Fit: The product will be manufactured to the exact "Blind Size" measurements provided.

Responsibility: As a DIY-focused service, the customer is responsible for the accuracy of all measurements submitted. Once an order enters our automated production queue, changes cannot be guaranteed. While we offer a discounted remedy for measurement errors under our 'Measurement Mistake Guarantee', full refunds or free replacements are not provided for customer-supplied measurement errors.
4. MANUFACTURING LEAD TIMES
Our standard manufacturing turnaround is 5 business days for blinds and 7 business days for curtains. These times represent our commitment to speed; however, during peak seasonal periods (such as pre-Christmas), these may extend slightly. You will receive automated tracking details via email as soon as your order is dispatched from our Melbourne facility.
5. LIABILITY & INSTALLATION
Build Your Blinds is a supply-only company. We are not liable for any costs, damages, or third-party contractor fees associated with the installation of our products. Our liability is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of the specific physical product supplied if found to be faulty.
6. GOVERNING LAW
These terms and your purchase are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
